My name is R. Geoffrey Weihe, D.D.S. and I am a CEREC restorative dentist in South Tampa, Florida in the Historic Hyde Park part of town. I have been providing fine restorative and cosmetic dentistry utilizing CEREC technology from Sirona for the past seven years. I was the first CEREC dentist to utilize the 3D software in Florida.
CEREC cad/cam technology is the greatest innovation in dentistry in the past 50 years and there are many studies demonstrating the superiority of the CEREC restoration. The University of Michigan School of Dentistry has utilized CEREC in their operative dental curriculum for 10 years. I was privileged to present a program on CEREC cosmetic and restorative dentistry to the University of Florida School of Dentistry in 2007. In 2008, the West Coast District Dental Association invited me to lecture on CEREC dentistry to their members.
This technology has given me the tools I needed to do the best dentistry possible for the health and beauty of my patients. We can now re-create beautiful smiles, save teeth we used to lose, and do it all in ONE VISIT!
No more do we need two visits to do a crown or veneer because of this process.
With CEREC, our patients only have their teeth numbed once.
With CEREC our patients don't wear temporary crowns which can break or fall out.
With CEREC, we have noticed almost no sensitivity!
With CEREC, our patients are needing far fewer root canals because they don't have to wear leaky temporary crowns.
The ceramic material used in the CEREC crowns and veneers is more like actual tooth structure than any material I've ever used! If you ask me if CEREC dentistry is the very best, I will tell you that it is the BEST thing I've ever done for my patients! If you have any questions, please call our office and we'll be happy to answer all your questions. Come by the office and we'll show you this incredible CEREC technology in action!
THE CEREC DIFFERENCE
With Cerec's CAD-CAM technology, the crown is made by a computer while you wait, thus eliminating the second appointment and the temporary crown. And, with Cerec, there is no need for a temporary crown, which eliminates one of the potential discomforts for the patient. More
